At least 10 children in central Alabama were harmed in a harrowing child abuse case, in which they were sex trafficked — some of them by their own parents or other relatives — according to a local sheriff,

Police said seven people have been arrested so far, but more are expected in connection to an alleged child sex trafficking ring in Alabama.

The allegations against the suspects – one of whom is the mother of some of the victims – include them using an animal shock collar on the children’s genitals, according to court documents.
