Trump wrote on Truth Social that he had “been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so.”

Coca-Cola said Tuesday that it plans to launch a version of its flagship Coke made with US cane sugar this fall in response to "consumer preferences."

Coca-Cola's move comes a week after President Trump said he had been talking to the soft drink giant about using cane sugar rather than high-fructose corn syrup in its signature drink.
