A judge in Chile has agreed to suspend proceedings against a teenage American pilot and social media influencer who has been stuck on a remote Antarctic island since late June after he was accused of landing there without permission.

According to the Associated Press, Chilean authorities charged Guo on June 29 with providing false flight plan data and landing without authorisation. Officials stated that he had been cleared only to fly over Punta Arenas but continued south to Antarctica, where he landed his small aircraft.
