Road closures are in effect after multiple people were hit by a vehicle near the University of Delaware on Tuesday, police said.

Two people in the U-Haul truck fled after police tried to arrest them, police said. A University of Delaware student was killed and several other people were injured after a person drove a U-Haul truck through Newark, Delaware, police and university officials said.
