Franco Colapinto treated the Imola weekend as a learning experience after replacing Jack Doohan at Alpine. Franco Colapinto ended up 16th among 18 classified finishers on his return to Formula 1 with Alpine in Sunday’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Franco Colapinto says replacing another Formula 1 driver during the season is “never nice circumstances” and he doesn’t believe his five-race deal with Alpine is long enough.
