The US-brokered Gaza cease-fire is teetering on the brink of collapse, with Hamas threatening to walk away from the deal — as the terror group traded barbs with Israel Saturday over who was first to violate the fragile truce.
Israel's military on Saturday launched airstrikes against Hamas militants in Gaza in the latest test of the ceasefire that began Oct. 10, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said five senior Hamas members were killed.
Hamas has swiftly reestablished its hold over areas from which Israel withdrew, killing dozens of Palestinians it accused of collaborating with Israel.

Health officials in Gaza have said identifying the remains handed over by Israel is complicated by a lack of DNA testing kits. Israel has not disclosed how many bodies it is holding or where they were recovered, but has been returning 15 for each set of hostage remains handed over.
The U.S. is pushing ahead with plans to build communities for Palestinians on the Israeli side of the line dividing Gaza.
Several groups - some of them backed by Israel - are ranged against Hamas in Gaza, with complex and overlapping ties.
Netanyahu reiterated his intention to block future Palestinian statehood ahead of a planned United Nations Security Council vote on the U.S. plan for post-war Gaza.
