Kelsey Plum broke the WNBA record for most points in a season opener, scoring 37 in her Sparks debut in an 84-67 win over the Valkyries.

After spending the last six years with the Las Vegas Aces, Plum started off her tenure in Los Angeles on the right foot. She scored 37 points on 11-for-19 shooting, including 4-for-6 from the 3-point line, and also made all 11 of her free throw attempts. Plum also dished six assists and recorded five steals.
