The Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets are Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant 's preferred trade destinations, sources told ESPN on Saturday night. Those across the NBA have been made aware in recent days that those are the three teams that Durant would commit to long-term.

The Heat make sense as a trade suitor for Durant. With that said, Smith believes the Timberwolves would instantly become a true championship contender by acquiring the 36-year-old.
