Nikola Jokic had 28 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds for his 24th triple-double of the season, Michael Porter Jr. added 30 points and the Denver Nuggets won their fifth in a row by beating the Orlando Magic 112-90 on Thursday night.

The Nuggets were up by 25 going into the fourth quarter, allowing them to rest stars Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter Jr. for the final period. Jokic and Porter Jr. were coming off historic performances against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night and followed it up with another insane outing.

The Nuggets played without starting point guard Jamal Murray, who sat out due to inflammation in his left knee. Given their recent schedule, the team decided getting Murray off his feet was wise. The team has been playing without guard Russell Westbrook, who’s been sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Michael Porter Jr. has kept his focus on swishing shots, not the swirling trade rumors. He’s tuned them out, in fact, and turned up his game. On Wednesday night, the Denver Nuggets' sharpshooting forward tied a career high with 39 points in a 144-119 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
