Airdrie fighter Paul Craig was involved in a bizarre 'no contest' at UFC Atlanta last night after opponent Rodolfo Bellato was accused of faking a knockout from an illegal move in their light-heavyweight clash.

The light heavyweight matchup between Craig and Bellato came to an anticlimactic end to wrap up the UFC Atlanta prelims. As Bellato appeared on the verge of finishing Craig from top-mount, Craig threw an illegal up-kick that landed flush to Bellato’s head, before Bellato immediately protested the infraction to the nearby referee.

Paul Craig is not just looking for victory but an "exciting Paul Craig" win on his return to light heavyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
