Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler's drivers failed conformance tests at the PGA Championship. Could YOU be using an illegal driver and not know it?

Heading into the weekend, it was reported that McIlroy had to switch out his driver because his regular driver was deemed non-conforming to USGA standards. While the PGA and USGA dismissed that anything nefarious was behind a non-conforming test result, McIlroy's absence for four consecutive days of media was not a great look for him.

Scottie Scheffler remained No. 1 on the World Golf Rankings. He ascended to first on the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup points list. And he won the season’s second major championship and his third overall at the PGA Championship on May 18 at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C.

From having to swap out his driver—more on that overblown "controversey" here—to making the cut on the number, it's been a rough week at the PGA Championship for Rory McIlroy. But he's still Rory McIlroy.
