"The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with these thunderstorms," states the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA. The warning is in effect until 9:30 p.m.

After days of light rain, a major storm walloped parts of Southern California on Thursday, bringing fears of mudslides in burn areas, heavy mountain snow, strong winds and a tornado that snapped trees and damaged homes.
