Biles, a seven-time Olympic gold medalist, has been embroiled in controversy for the past few weeks stemming from an online feud with former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines regarding trans athletes.

Biles’ post to Instagram follows her deleting her X account, which Gaines responded to on Sunday, posting, “Sad to see such a phenom go down like this.”
