Two people have been found dead in Sonoma County in less than 24 hours from the effects of the atmospheric river storm systems battering the Bay Area this week, authorities said Thursday.

Days of relentless rain have flooded roads and downed trees across Sonoma County, forcing multiple closures. As of 9:30 a.m. Friday, at least 20 roads were closed due to storm damage, according to Sonoma County’s road closure map, including:

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to find 14-year-old Madeline Shehu. She has been missing since February 5, and as of Friday afternoon, her whereabouts remain unknown, the sheriff’s office said.
