Despite all the perceived chaos surrounding Bill Belichick and his girlfriend/fiancee Jordon Hudson, the legendary football coach says none of it will distract him from coaching the North Carolina Tar Heels when the season starts this fall.

Gio Lopez, a transfer from South Alabama, is a strong candidate to be the starter in the Tar Heels’ Sept. 1 opener against TCU. Last year’s opening-day starter, Max Johnson, is also in the mix.
