Ala Moana Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day with some stores and restaurants open and it will be open on Black Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Ala Moana Center is growing its collection of more than 350 stores and restaurants with the recent introduction of new tenants and others slated to open in the coming weeks.

Sushi Gyo-Shin, Chef Hiroshi Tsuji's debut restaurant, will open in Ala Moana in a few weeks. The intimate seven-seat counter will offer a $150 omakase experience.

Ala Moana Center is adding five new tenants, including a sunglasses retailer, pizza restaurant and clothing stores.
