The biggest snowstorm over the last five years dropped a whopping 23.6 inches of snow onto Boston on Jan. 29, 2022, according to the National Weather Service. During that blizzard, the city tied its record for most snowfall in one day. This storm has the potential to give that 2022 storm a run for its money and set a new record.
