US President Donald Trump's renewed threat to impose tariffs on imported furniture could erode some of China's exports while doing little to bring manufacturing back to America as he promised, according to analysts.

The Trump administration’s tariff policies remain consistently in flux. On Monday, the president took aim at China for its continued export restrictions on seven rare earth minerals and magnets, despite a shaky trade truce extended earlier this month.
