Inter Miami's headliner of a season opener and stadium opener are big part the last full February-to-November MLS season

The 2026 MLS regular season schedule is HERE, setting the stage for the league's 31st campaign. The 2026 slate includes Inter Miami CF opening Miami Freedom Park in April, as well as the FIFA 2026 World Cup in North America next summer. MLS will pause in late May ahead of the marquee event, then resume in July before the World Cup final.

The 2026 season begins with 15 matches spread across Feb. 21–22. Marquee matches include St. Louis CITY SC welcoming Charlotte FC in the season opener, LAFC hosting Inter Miami and FC Cincinnati battling a new-look Atlanta United.

Before FIFA 2026 World Cup fever takes over, MLS is Back on Feb. 21-22. The league will pause from May 25-July 16 for next summer's marquee tournament, then resume through Decision Day (Nov. 7) and the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
