The 2026 All-Star Game will be held in Philadelphia, where the Home Run Derby will air on Netflix for the first time. Together with the revamped Draft and Futures Game structure, the upcoming changes highlight MLB’s continued effort to blend tradition with evolving media dynamics.

Opening Night, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, and Field of Dreams will stream on Netflix for three years beginning in 2026.

What is new is that ESPN has joined the mix as an additional streaming option. Starting in 2026, Guardians fans will also be able to stream games through the ESPN app, either as a standalone purchase or bundled with other MLB content. Fans will not be required to purchase an ESPN+ subscription.
