Four area high school students will be taking to the streets for one of the nation’s biggest parades on Thanksgiving.

The Catawba Ridge High School Marching Band in Fort Mill is set to perform in the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov.

The 200-member band is one of 11 that has been selected to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. It’s a first for Temple, which will be the only band from Pennsylvania.
