Paris hotel prices for the 2024 Olympics have surged, reaching more than three-and-a-half times the typical summer rates less than a year before the games.

Hotel prices in Paris during the 2024 Olympics are already increasing by more than three-and-a-half times the usual summer rates, less than a year ahead of the games.

Paris is expecting about 15 million visitors as it hosts the Olympics and Paralympics from July 26 through Sept. 8. The city has just 85,000 hotel rooms, which has driven up prices.

The price of the Paris Olympics is more costly than years past, but still similar to other European summer Olympics.

Hotel room rates in the US and Europe are rising and may get even more expensive as supply has failed to keep up with demand, industry executives said.
