Ronaldo, who already owns a hotel in his home of Madeira, announced the opening of the Pestana CR7 Lisboa hotel in Lisbon, home of his former club, Sporting CP.

He launched the Pestana CR7 Lifestyle hotel in the Moroccan city and it's already been nominated for a prestigious gong. The luxury facility boasts 174 rooms, a spa, business centre, pool and gym.

Pestana CR7 currently have hotels in Lisbon and Funchal - the capital of the ex- Manchester United star's native Madeira. While reports claim there are plans to build hotels in Madrid and Ibiza.
