Action Tmnt Movie Announced, Another Film Canceled
Digest more
Paramount has scrapped its planned live-action adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, an R-rated adaptation of the beloved comic.
A major content shift at the studio leads to changes in its animated lineup, while the broader franchise moves forward with new projects.
Paramount+ has announced that a popular series will soon come to an end. The upcoming second season of “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles” will be its last. The new episodes are slated to premiere in December, although an exact release date has not been announced.
Also included in the announcement was the fact that the sequel to Mutant Mayhem is still set for a September 2027 release, but I ain’t buying it. First of all, the movie’s spinoff series was recently cancelled midway through production on the second season.
Paramount has cancelled yet another cult-hit animated series from Nickelodeon Animation, and this cancellation unfortunately continues a trend that one long running animated franchise can’t seem to get away from despite so much effort.
