Rescuers are racing to try and free people trapped inside a train involved in a fatal collision outside the Indonesian capital Jakarta on Monday. At least 15 people were killed and dozens injured in the accident which took place when a stationary passenger train was hit from behind by a long-distance commuter train running on the same track.
BEKASI, Indonesia (AP) — The death toll in the train crash outside Indonesia's capital climbed to 14. Bobby Rasyidin, CEO of state-owned railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia, said 14 people have been confirmed dead as of Tuesday morning. The bodies have been transported to a hospital for further identification.
