The pilot of an Indian combat plane died after the aircraft crashed during a demonstration flight for spectators at the Dubai Air Show, the Indian Air Force said Friday.

At 2.08 pm (local time) on Friday, the Indian Air Force's Tejas jet was performing an aerial manoeuvre, enthralling the audience gathered at the Dubai Airshow.

The indigenous aircraft was participating in the Dubai Air Show on Friday afternoon, when it plunged to the ground around 2:10 pm local time while executing an aerial display before a large crowd.
