The Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars play Game 2 of the Western Conference Final in the Stanley Cup Playoffs Friday at American Airlines Center.

The Dallas Stars handed the Edmonton Oilers a heavy 6-3 defeat in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs' Western Conference Final, and will look for a similar result in Game 2 on Friday night. The Stars were third in the NHL in goals per game during the regular season (and only had Mikko Rantanen in a green sweater for 20 games after acquiring him midseason).

The Stars can take a 2-0 series lead for the first time since the second round of the 2020 playoffs by beating the Edmonton Oilers at home on Friday night, May 23.
