The Israeli strikes came as international momentum was building on Gaza, with the U.N. Security Council on Monday approving the U.S. blueprint to secure and govern the territory.
The group raises money that goes to health and social service organizations in Israel (including the West Bank) and war-torn Gaza.
Several groups - some of them backed by Israel - are ranged against Hamas in Gaza, with complex and overlapping ties.
Israeli ambassador to the UN Danny Danon emphasized that the plan includes "an explicit statement about disarming Hamas", saying his government will not stop "until Hamas no longer poses a threat to the State of Israel.
But it remains only a vague nod. It states that if the Palestinian Authority “faithfully” carries out reforms and if Gaza redevelopment advances, “conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood.”
