Apple's "China Plus One" strategy boosted India's export share, research shows.

India has overtaken China as the leading exporter of smartphones to the U.S., as Apple continues to shift production in the face of the Trump administration’s tariffs, according to new research released Monday.

India has now surpassed China to become the largest source of smartphones shipped to the United States, a change largely fueled by Apple’s decision to increase its iPhone manufacturing in India, Bloomberg reported.
