Jake Paul has taken down another former world champion. Paul badly outworked former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. to earn a clear unanimous decision in their cruiserweight showdown on Saturday.

Chavez Jr., the 39-year-old former WBC middleweight champion and son of Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., was competing for the first time in more than a year. The loss dropped his record to 53-8-1 with 34 knockouts.

Jake Paul added yet another big name to his boxing resume with a unanimous decision win over Julio César Chávez Jr. at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, on Saturday night.
