Tennessee Titans vs Seattle Seahawks
Digest more
Seattle raced to a 23-3 lead before the Titans attempted to mount a late surge with under five minutes remaining. Jaxon Smith-Njigba broke the franchise single-season receiving-yards record and hauled in multiple explosive plays.
Tennessee opened the afternoon with a field goal, but from that point on, the Seahawks seized full control. Sam Darnold looked sharp and in rhythm, completing 16 of 26 passes for 244 yards and two scores, while third-year back Zach Charbonnet punched in a 5-yard rushing touchdown to put the game comfortably out of reach.
The Titans have 14 turnovers this season, most of which fall on the shoulders of Cam Ward, even though they're not really all his fault. The Seahawks rank inside the top 10 in the NFL in takeaways, so the Titans cannot afford to help them out. Even one turnover could change the momentum of the game.
