Sheamus' dream of facing John Cena in his final WWE match went up in flames after news broke that he suffered an injury. His replacement in the Last Time is Now tournament seems to have been revealed.

Talking to Busted Open Radio, it was mentioned that Sheamus had been working NXT house shows this past week. On November 13, he defeated Je’Von Evans in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Celtic Warrior took time to give Evans his flowers, praising his athletic ability.

John Cena made his final appearance on Raw, teaming up with Rey Mysterio and Sheamus to defeat The Judgment Day. His The Last Time is Now tournament also continued with Dolph Ziggler returning for one night to lose to Solo Sikoa while Gunther made his own return from injury to defeat NXT's Je'Von Evans.

The former WWE World Champion, Sheamus recently paid tribute to a major AEW star on RAW and sent a message after the same. The Celtic Warrior has a history with the star.
