ST. CHARLES PARISH, La. — St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne announced that the 28-year-old who used fraudulent paperwork to enroll at Hahnville High School just wanted to learn English.

CHARLES PARISH (WVUE) - Authorities in St. Charles Parish say the 28-year-old woman accused of using fake documents to enroll as a Hahnville High School student was not trying to hurt any kids.

A 28-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly enrolling at a Louisiana high school as a 17-year-old girl, authorities said.
