The MTA re-launched its “Ride Inside, Stay Alive” anti-subway surfing campaign on Wednesday, this time with the support of Queens-born professional BMX bike rider Nigel Sylvester.

The MTA is hoping new fare evasion gates will further stop passengers trying to get around paying for a ride on the New York City subway system.

Six bus routes will be discontinued as of next week: the Q15A, Q20A, Q20B, Q34, Q48, and QM3. A seventh route, the Q21, will be discontinued at the end of August as part of phase two.
