TikTok’s future in the United States is yet to be seen following a Supreme Court ruling that cleared the way to ban the app Sunday and President-elect Donald Trump’s wish to keep it. The Supreme Court ruled on Friday that a controversial ban on TikTok may take effect this weekend, rejecting an appeal from the popular app's owners that claimed the ban violated the First Amendment. The court handed down an unsigned opinion and there were no noted dissents.
