The fall walleye fishing is improving slowly but surely out here on the Missouri River and Lake Oahe just south of Bismarck.

Those who went out were mainly fishing Lake Oahe and looking for that trophy walleye. And yes, some were successful.

Fishing has taken a turn, not necessarily for the worse. Walleye activity has changed, and fish are going deeper, but they can still be had. Salmon fishing still hasn't picked up, but it should soon.
