Fifty out of the more than 300 students who were abducted from a Catholic school in northern Nigeria on Friday have been returned to their families after they managed to escape, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) said on Sunday.

An unknown number of Catholic school students in Nigeria were kidnapped by armed men. It's the second mass abduction of school students this week.
