The Horned Frogs (7-4, 4-4 Big 12) jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, but allowed the Cougars (8-3, 5-3) back into the game with four turnovers and multiple penalties that wiped touchdowns off the board.

Turnovers began to stack up as Hoover tossed a career-high three interceptions.
