Fans questioned Dan Hooker’s decision-making in his loss at UFC Qatar. Hooker was submitted by Arman Tsarukyan in the second round of their lightweight main event on November 22. Makhachev (28-1 MMA, 17-1 UFC) dominated Jack Della Maddalena (18-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) to claim the welterweight belt this past Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York. Tsarukyan (22-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC), who was lined up to challenge Makhachev for the lightweight title at UFC 311 before withdrawing, had high praise for his former foe.
In a recent video on his YouTube channel, Arman Tsarukyan claimed that if he doesn’t receive his UFC win bonus, he loses money when he competes. The lightweight contender claimed that he receives $150,000 as his base amount, which after tax and paying for his training camps, leaves him with nothing.
