Death Stranding 2 is a PS5 exclusive and there have been no official announcements regarding releases on other platforms, such as PC and Xbox. The game is being exclusively published by Sony for PS5 only, so that is the only platform you can play it on at launch.

Death Stranding first launched as a PS4 exclusive in November 2019, although it received a port to PC just over half a year later, in July 2020. Similarly, we expect that Death Stranding 2 has a period of PlayStation exclusivity, likely around six months, that precludes a PC port from being released on launch.

PS5, PS4 users are reminded that they can play Death Stranding for free ahead of its universally praised sequel, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The game was added to PS Plus Extra, Premium catalog when the service was revamped and remains available at the time of this writing.
