IOWA CITY — Florida International transfer Ashton Williamson has committed to Iowa basketball, he announced May 21. Williamson, a 6-foot-2 170-pound guard, averaged 7.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists in roughly 24 minutes per game during his freshman season. He will join the Hawkeyes with three seasons of college eligibility remaining.
