A winter storm in Maryland dumped about 2 to 4 inches of snow across the state Tuesday, with some southern counties seeing more accumulation.

Snow started to fall during the mid-afternoon Tuesday across Maryland, starting from south to north and lasting through early Wednesday. As you can see below, most of the highest totals are in Southern Maryland and the Lower Eastern Shore, where snow bands were heavier and lasted longer.
