Shares of Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) were among the winners last month. The social media stock took off after the inauguration, benefiting from a potential TikTok ban, the company's increasingly cozy relationship with President Donald Trump, news of increased investment in artificial intelligence (AI), and even the DeepSeek revelation.

Meta stock rose on Monday, leaving intact a record-breaking winning streak for the social media giant. The run, at 16 consecutive sessions as of Monday's close, is the longest on record for a Magnificent Seven stock.

For Meta's stock to turn a $10,000 investment into $1 million, it would need to grow to 100 times its original value. That means its market cap would one day need to top $180 trillion. Given its elevated valuation, I don't see that as being a likely scenario. Even getting to 10 times its value, to more than $18 trillion, might be a long shot.
