In 2024, after Michigan defeated the No. 2 Ohio State for the fourth straight year, a fight broke out that would cost the universities $100,000 each and embroil them in a national debate about sportsmanship.
The Buckeyes come into Week 14 understanding that simply winning The Game guarantees a spot in Indianapolis. The same goes for Indiana, as two of the nation’s three remaining undefeated teams. But either losing, or even both losing, opens the door for chaos.

Last year, Michigan scored an improbable 13-10 upset win over the Buckeyes despite having a 6-5 record and closing as 19.5-point underdogs. The win not only shocked the college football world, but marked the Wolverines’ fourth straight victory in the rivalry. Ohio State would go on to the win national championship.
