A quickly growing fire in Riverside County torched nearly 700 acres of land and prompted evacuation orders on Monday, according to authorities. Dubbed the Juniper Fire, it was initially reported at 11:28 a.

Wolf Fire initially started 3:09 p.m. June 29 in Riverside County, California. Since its discovery 38 hours ago, it has burned 2,414 acres. A fire crew of 925 succeeded in containing 35% of the fire as of Tuesday morning. However, the cause is still being investigated.
