Cooler temperatures and humidity are helping firefighters fight the fire, which nearly doubled in size since Monday afternoon.

Evacuation orders and warnings remained in place on Tuesday for the Wolf Fire in Riverside. The 2,414-acre fire south of Banning, is now 35% contained after crews made significant improvement.

The Wolf wildfire in Riverside County burned Tuesday for a third day as fire crews fought desperately to contain its fast-growing flames. The Wolf Fire is currently the largest wildfire in California.
