As global concern over the crisis in Gaza intensifies, Steve Witkoff, Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, is set to visit an aid distribution site in the enclave.

U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff was expected to arrive in Israel on Thursday in a bid to salvage Gaza ceasefire talks and tackle a humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian enclave, where a global hunger monitor has warned that famine was unfolding.

President Donald Trump said this week the U.S. would send more aid to Gaza, especially food, as the hunger crisis worsens.
