A fire that broke out aboard a container ship docked at the Port of Los Angeles was nearly contained by Saturday afternoon.
The 1,102-foot-long (336-meter-long) vessel is operated by One Ocean Express, a shipping company headquartered in Singapore.
Los Angeles fire officials said the fire started on a lower level of the container ship which was later moved away from the dock.
