The first F1 live action of Friday will see the drivers take part in final practice for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. After a valuable day and night of running on Thursday, it is down to this final hour of running to make sure every car is in its sweet spot ahead of qualifying later on.

Pierre Gasly is called into the pits by his team to switch from intermediates to full wet tires. Many other drivers are sure to follow that decision. F1 says the rain is expected to end in 14 minutes, but conditions feel very unpredictable at this moment.

Formula 1 cars will reach speeds of more than 200 mph on the Las Vegas Strip this weekend as the Las Vegas Grand Prix returns for its third year.

American Chloe Chambers has secured pole position during F1 Academy qualifying here in Las Vegas, her fourth pole of the season. Given the reverse grid format for Race 1, the top eight will be flipped, and Nina Gademan will line up P1 for Race 1, after qualifying eighth.
