The fiery crash of a UPS plane shortly after its left engine flew off its wing and sparked a massive fire during takeoff could spell the end of the airliner involved.

A man has died after a small aeroplane crashed in the Republic of Ireland. It happened near Tramore in County Waterford, at about 12:50 local time on Thursday. The man, who was the pilot, was alone in the plane, gardaí (Irish police) said.

The crash of the Cessna Skyhawk happened about 7 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Grant Road and Babcock Street in southern Brevard. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board were notified and were expected to review the site and the airplane before making any preliminary findings.
